Our current campaign for Amnesty is on Guantanamo Bay. We want as many as possible to sign a petition for Binyam Mohamed, a former Guantanamo Bay Prisoner , who is going through a investigation of what had happened at Guatanamo Bay and his previous destinations. The UK intelligence security has been involved in his torture. We hope for the current Spanish presidential head of EU, Minister Rodríguez Zapatero, to put pressure on the UK, so that all information will be fully examined along with taking into account the passiveness of the UK government for not intervining in stopping Binyam’s torture, in his investigation.

Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:  No one shall be subject to torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
